Villino di Porporano
A few kilometers from the center of Parma, in the charming village of Porporano, a lovely vacancy place has been created and organized by a young Italian couple.
Next to the manor house, in the garden surroundings, once stood an antique farmhouse, built on stone foundation and overcame from a high barn.
This old rustic house has been transformed into a charming guesthouse: 5 rooms with bathrooms, common areas, a large kitchen, a veranda protected by glass windows which separate it from the enchanting green shades of the garden. Nothing has lost the flavor of the past thanks to the rough walls interruped by river stones used instead of bricks that still surprise who enters the house fro the very first time.
Moreover, the bedrooms with unfinished hardwood floors suggest a colour harmony.
The host has carefully furnished all the rooms, choosing the wrought-iron bed head, the embroided courtains, the reassuring but rough linen sheets ecc.
Villino di Porporano is a place where hospitality is not a job but a way of life.
